My philosophy of education is that children will learn the most in the classroom when they are engaged, heard, and can acquire agency in their learning. As an educator, caregiver, and role model in the classroom, I feel passionate to help students discover how to acquire the skills they need to take ownership of their learning.

I strive to foster a classroom environment that invites a multitude of learners to thrive by practicing these four components:

  1. Multiple methods of learning

  2. Teaching by Modeling

  3. Intervention

  4. Family and Community Engagement

My classroom mantra states:

We are a team, We are respectful, We are loved, and We are important.
